I know, I know…. you try to meal prep, you try to make your food interesting but for some reason it always turns out dry, unflavorful and probably doesn’t get eaten.
This has happened to me wayyyy too many times!
You have the right intention however when you attempt to meal prep for the week you’re lost on how to season, which spices to use and what sauces are macro friendly to keep your food flavorful and delicious!
When it comes to meal prep, the hardest thing to make appetizing is always the PROTEIN.
But, remember the protein sources will never change, you just have to learn how to make them interesting!
For the most part, you will always eat one of these:
Chicken Breast
Ground Turkey
Lean White Fish
Salmon
Shrimp
Tofu
Lean Steak
Eggs/Egg Whites
The protein source will usually be the same and I’m sure you have your own go to protein that you always purchase at the grocery store.
For me, I always have chicken or ground turkey. And yes… it does get old at times.. but that base never really changes and I still have to make sure I’m eating enough protein, which means, I have to find ways to get creative and keep it interesting.
Here are some of my favorite seasonings, spices & sauces that I use to keep me on track and still loving my meal prepped food.
